About Eben Taylor
An instinct to Create
Eben Taylor (b.1997) was born and raised in Ayer, Massachusetts and began his career as a stop motion animator and 2D animator/illustrator at the ripe age of 9 years old. He directs non-profit multi animator projects to create unique multi-media music videos, teaching new skills to emerging artists. He uses various recycled materials to craft his puppets and animates facial expressions and lip synching digitally. Eben is not afraid to explore darker themes of depression and discrimination in his art, but he also has a soft spot for colorful, charming, and positive animations.
He draws inspiration from his peers and other independent animators as well as large studios like Laika. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, he studied under the instruction of Jake Fried, Steven Subotnick, and Hayley Morris (Shape and Shadow). Eben currently works in the public school system, teaching art and animation skills in a K-12 setting. He is currently looking for employment in puppet making, stop motion animation, character design, and 2D animation.
